The Blackberry Bold now has a software upgrade to make it "Blue Tick". This is compatible with all hardware since launch last year.

This process may take up to 1 hour (depending on your internet connection speed). Please ensure you have BlackBerry Desktop Software v4.6 before proceeding, details below. To download this upgrade please go to:

and Download Blackberry Bold (TM) 9000 smartphone or BlackBerry Desktop Software v4.6 if you don't already have this

Fill in the details required and download

Software Name:

BlackBerry Handheld Software v4.6.0.477 (EastAsia)

File Name: 9000jEastAsia_PBr4.6.0_rel477_PL4.0.0.235_A4.6.0.282_Telstra.exe

Download Size: 97.680 MB

After downloading install, tick the box to open Blackberry Desktop software

Blackberry Desktop manager should open and you will be prompted with

Once you select "Update Now"

Click Next, then finished.

The part of the upgrade may take up to 30 mins.
